Małgorzata Sobońska, barrister, partner.

From 1994 to 30 November 2003, Małgorzata worked permanently with Ernst & Young, specialising in tax litigation.  In the years 1998-2003, she headed the VAT, duty and excise tax team. In the years 2004-2005, she branched out her practice, particularly into the area of legal advice for publishing companies. Małgorzata has completed a post-graduate copyright and media law programme at the Jagiellonian University. She has written numerous publications on tax proceedings, fiscal criminal law and selected aspects of copyright law. She is a practicing court room attorney. She has acted as attorney to parties in several hundred court proceedings before administrative courts, common courts, the Supreme Court, the Appeals Department, and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.  She is also acting as attorney in several cases pending before the Constitutional Tribunal. In the years 2005-2008, Małgorzata served as the national tax law commentator as a member of the International Bar Association.
